Three harmonica art books with drawn documentations of a day in the Military Academy of Modena

These quick sketches investigate what lies behind the walls of the Military Academy of Modena.
The aim of the project was to show what is not usually visible from the outside since access in the Academy is restricted and photographs are not allowed.

Suspended dreams
Pen and watercolour on paper, acrylic, book cover, fishing wire.
The pages are suspended from the sketchbook rather than being a part of it, enabling them to move and giving a sense of fragility, unstableness as well as showing both sides of the pages at different times.
The dreamy and unreal aspect, also expressed by the given title, is highlighted in the sleeping figures sketched on the pages.

The book was installed as part of the temporary exhibition "In between the Lines" inside Lancaster University Library, in Lancaster (UK)
